Getting started with Everjoy

  • Do I need an account to browse? You can browse venues, vendors, and rentals as a guest. To save favourites, send booking requests, and use the planner, you’ll need to create a free Everjoy account.
  • Where do I find my dashboard? After signing in, you’ll see the Everjoy dashboard with side navigation for Saved, Requests, Bookings, Events, Messages, and your Account.
  • How do I create my first event? Go to Events → My Events and tap New event. Give it a name, date, and city, then you can attach inspirations and start planning vendors around it.

Talking to vendors & venues

  • How do I send a booking request? Open any listing and use the main call-to-action, like Check availability or Request quote — then fill in your event details and submit. This starts a request and a message thread with that partner.
  • Where can I see all my conversations? Go to Messages from the sidebar. You’ll see all your threads on the left and the active conversation on the right. On mobile it behaves like a messaging app.
  • Can I send photos or attachments? Yes. Inside a conversation, use the paperclip icon to attach reference photos, inspiration images, or documents. The partner will see them directly in the thread.
  • What’s the difference between a request, an offer, and a booking? A request is you asking for availability or pricing. An offer is a detailed quote the partner sends back (with date, time, and price). A booking is confirmed once you accept and (when available) complete payment through Everjoy.

Bookings, changes & cancellations

  • When is my booking confirmed? A booking is confirmed when the partner has accepted the request and you’ve accepted their final offer. Once payment is available in your area, confirmed bookings will also show a Paid status after checkout.
  • Where do I see all my bookings? Use the Bookings page in your dashboard to see upcoming and past bookings, plus key details like date, time, and partner name. You can open each booking for the full conversation and status history.
  • How do I change or cancel a booking? Open the booking from your Bookings page and message the partner directly in the same thread. For changes or cancellations close to the event date, we recommend reaching out as early as possible so they have time to adjust.
  • How will payments and refunds work? Everjoy is rolling out secure, in-app payments. Once live in your area, you’ll pay through Everjoy and refund rules will follow the partner’s cancellation policy shown before you confirm. Until then, some partners may still handle payments offline.

Events & planner

  • What is an “event” on Everjoy? An event is your umbrella plan — for example “Summer wedding”, “Birthday dinner”, or “Corporate retreat”. You can attach inspirations, keep notes, and link potential venues and vendors to each event.
  • How do I create and manage events? Go to Events → My Events. From there you can create new events, open existing ones, and (when needed) delete events you no longer plan to use.
  • How do suggestions or recommendations work? Everjoy uses your event city, rough budget, and preferences (like style or guest count) to surface venues and vendors that are a good fit. You stay in control — suggestions are a starting point, not a final decision.

Saved venues, vendors & rentals

  • How do I save a listing? Tap the heart icon on any card or listing page to save it. Saved items are your shortlist while you compare options or plan across a few dates.
  • Where can I see everything I’ve saved? Use the Saved page from your sidebar. You’ll see all saved venues, vendors, and rentals in one place, with quick links to open each listing or start a request.
  • Can I remove something from my saved list? Yes. Tap the heart again on a saved listing card, or use the remove option on the Saved page. It won’t affect any existing requests or bookings with that partner.

Account, email & notifications

  • How do I update my profile? Go to Account in the sidebar. From there you can update your name, photo, phone number, and address. Changes are reflected across your requests and bookings.
  • How do notifications work? You’ll get in-app notifications for new messages, partner decisions on your requests, and important booking updates. You’ll also receive email alerts for key changes so you don’t miss anything time-sensitive.
  • Can I control which notifications I receive? Notification preferences will be expanded over time. For now, core booking and safety- related updates can’t be turned off, but marketing or announcement emails will stay minimal and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • How do I change my email or password? From the Account page, follow the link to security settings. You’ll be guided through verifying your current email before updating your login details.
